Robbie Williams has no advice which is "worth anything" to give One Direction.
The British boyband have been marred in controversy lately after Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik were apparently caught on camera smoking marijuana while in Peru. They are currently on their Where We Are world tour and although he's been in group Take That, Robbie insists he has no words of wisdom to offer.
"No advice really. What advice could I give them that would be worth anything and would they listen? I know I wouldn't have," he told British magazine Heat. "I just think they are some lads singing and good luck to them. I like them an awful lot and think they're nice people."
Robbie has been performing on his Swings Both Ways tour recently, which sees him giving an acoustic show. This week he admitted feeling nervous ahead of its kick off as he worried his fans would find his pared back performances boring.
It helps to have his wife Ayda Field on hand for support, as well as their 20-month-old daughter Teddy. Ayda is currently expecting the couple's second child and Robbie can't help gushing about how much being a father has changed him.
"Ayda is really good. She's been nauseous, but has her happy pregnant moments," he explained. "She and Teddy have been pretty much everywhere with us on tour and I really miss them when they're not with me. The first few days are great because I can slouch around and play [computer game] FIFA, but then I want them back as soon as possible."
