Britney Spears is 'all for' getting engaged again, it has been reported.

The singer is reportedly keen on settling down with her new boyfriend David Lucado, despite having only dated the legal assistant since February.

The former X Factor USA judge is said to be head over heels for her 27-year-old beau and won't rule out getting serious again soon after her split from her ex-fiancé Jason Trawick.

David, who was first pictured with the star on Valentine's Day, is also said to be in love with the star and has bonded with Britney's two children from her marriage to Kevin Federline.

'He's fallen for her big time and loves her kids,' a source told British magazine Now. 'David wants to make things official - and Britney is all for it.'

The pop star previously got married to childhood sweetheart Jason Alexander in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony in January 2004, but the union was annulled after just 55 hours.

Britney became engaged to backing dancer Kevin Federline in July that year after only three months of dating, tying the knot in a lavish do two months later.

The couple went on to have sons Sean Preston and Jayden James together but separated after two years of marriage.

In December 2011, Britney announced her engagement to former agent Jason Trawick, but the couple split this January.

Last week, Britney set tongues wagging when she stepped out wearing a gold band on her wedding finger.

The Toxic singer's father is said to be worried about the speed at which things are developing between his daughter and Lucado.

Jamie Spears is still the legal conservator of Britney's personal and business affairs and has reportedly vowed to 'keep a close eye' on the star following her break-up from former manager Jason.

'He likes David, but they've only been dating a few months. Jamie is hoping Britney doesn't rush into anything,' the source added.
