Jennifer Lopez is ready for some down time.

The singer has enjoyed a lengthy film, singing and dancing a career since the 1980s.

Now that she has children, Jennifer admits she rarely gets time to herself.

'All the time. I''m looking for a moment to kick back and relax,' she joked to Extra. 'I love what I do, and my kids take up most of my free time.'

The 43-year-old star has twins Max and Emme with singer Marc Anthony.

Jennifer is devoted to her offspring.

'They are my first priority, so as long as their good, and I can work and change the world in my own little ways, I'm happy,' she explained.

Brought up in the Bronx, New York City, Jennifer wants to create fresh memories in a home she recently purchased in the posh Hamptons area.

She chose the location so her brood could remain in constant contact with their father.

'It''s always been a dream of mine to have a house where my whole family can spend Christmas,' she said. 'And I always want the kids to be close to Marc, who lives here in New York, so it was a natural thing to happen.'

The entertainer will appear on the American Idol finale on Thursday. She opened up about reuniting with the talent show team but did not confirm or deny whether she will return as a judge next season.

'It was fun. It was great to see the team there,' she added. 'They were like, 'We miss you!' I was like, 'I miss you, too!''

Jennifer has just signed up as the chief creative officer of Nuvo TV.

It is an English-speaking channel for Latinos aiming to portray the modern Latino experience on TV.

Since parting ways from her third ex-husband Marc, Jennifer has been dating her backing dancer Casper Smart.
