Rihanna and Chris Brown are constantly fighting with one another, according to a new report.

The couple called it quits according to reports earlier this month but just yesterday they were said to be planning their wedding.

According to a new report from UsWeekly things are far too volatile between them to take such a serious step.

"Every second it's a blow-up and then full on in love," a source told the American tabloid.

The insider blamed the singers' busy schedules in part for their constant bust-ups.

Both stars are hyper-focused on their careers and have difficulties carving out time for their other half.

"She's touring and working her a** off, and he's working his off in the studio," the insider said.

The couple's on-off relationship has been well-publicised since they reunited at the beginning of the year following his conviction for assaulting her in 2009.

Reports of a split were rampant this week after Chris was seeing partying with blonde waitress Keisha Kimball. She has since denied they are dating.

The rumour followed Chris' candid interview on America's Today show about his relationship with Rihanna.

"As far as me and her are concerned, she knows my heart and I know her heart," he said, adding of the gossip, 'I'm not really focused on the negative."

Rihanna meanwhile made cryptic references to the Kiss Kiss singer at a Los Angeles concert on Tuesday.

"How many of you are in love? How many of you hate love? How many of you don't f**king understand it?" she asked the crowd.

'I'm in that group. The confused group,' she said before introducing her track What Now.

Neither star has commented on the most recent reports of their fighting.
