Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon have been doing some good deeds for their community.

Mariah Carey hired out a recreation center in Aspen last Monday for 35 underprivileged children.

The singer hired magicians, storytellers and jugglers to entertain the kids who came along to play on the ice skating rink, swim in the pool and use the climbing wall.

The couple also turned up at the center in a reindeer powered sleigh with Santa and had their photo taken with the kids.

As the couple arrived, the children screamed 'Mariah, Mariah, Mariah'.

Carey spent the rest of the week Christmas shopping in the Colorado city.
