Madonna to extend tour
Madonna announced today that she is to extend her world tour to play some extra dates in Europe.

The singer said she will reveal all the full details by the end of this week.

A message on her official website,, reads: "Madonna fans, are you ready for more? We are happy to confirm that the rumours are true - Madonna has decided to extend her 'Sticky & Sweet' Tour.

"She is looking forward to an amazing summer in Europe, hitting the cities she didn't get a chance to in 2008."

Madonna's 'Sticky & Sweet' tour ran from August to December last year, taking in 58 dates across world and grossed £194.8m, making the singer the biggest worldwide concert draw of 2008.
