Jennifer Lopez feared she would get hurt on her world tour.

The Booty singer undertook her first major world tour from June to December 2012. And now two years on, the mother-of-two is gearing up to reveal what went on behind the scenes in a new HBO documentary which will air on December 31.

But despite her many years performing on stage, Jennifer was still worried about certain aspects of the show, which play out on screen.

'There's a big hole in the ground, there's too much smoke. I'm afraid I'm going to get hurt,' she is seen saying during a stage inspection.

But ever the perfectionist, she got around the issues and went on to perform to huge crowds across 65 cities on five continents. The show featured an array of fabulous costumes which were rumoured to include 500,000 sequins and 162 wardrobe changes.

'I don't want in between, I want all the way there,' the 45-year-old is seen saying during a meeting.

One thing that does seem to be missing from the tell-all programme is the singer's ex-boyfriend Casper Smart.

The dancer played a key role in the tour, acting as choreographer as well as dancing on stage alongside the beauty. But in the clips revealed so far, he's nowhere to be seen.

The pair dated for nearly three years following her divorce from husband Marc Anthony, with whom she has twins Max and Emme. However they split in June amidst rumours that the 27-year-old had cheated on her with a transsexual.

However Jennifer didn't edit out all of her emotional moments. At one point she can be seen in tears at her dressing table in a white robe.

'I remember being in my dressing room and not feeling like I could get up in the morning,' she said, although the reason why was not revealed.
