Madonna's 16-year-old daughter ignores her and her son can't stop ogling girls.

The pop star shares her eldest child Lourdes with her former fitness trainer Carlos Leon.

She also has a 12-year-old son, Rocco, with ex-husband Guy Ritchie and two adopted children, Mercy James and David Banda.

The star appeared on US news programme Good Morning America Friday when she talked about her frustrations as a mother.

"Lourdes has stopped talking to me and Rocco's looking at girls' butts," Madonna mused.

The singer blames technology in part for alienating Lourdes. She also admitted to struggling with the perception of her eldest as she grows into an adult.

"Ever since my daughter got an iPhone she stopped talking to me,' Madonna said.

'Seeing my daughter at 16 - it's kind of uncomfortable. She's still my little girl and she's also a woman."

Madonna said Rocco is the 'showboat in the family'.

She said he 'threw himself' at her to go on her MDNA Tour.

Madonna is currently promoting her new documentary, Madonna: The MDNA Tour, about the worldwide trek.

The tour kicked off in Tel Aviv, Israel May 2012 and wrapped up in Córdoba, Argentina December 22.

The concert special will air in the US June 22.
