Madonna reportedly 'didn't even glance' in Gwyneth Paltrow's direction at the Met Gala.

The pop star and the actress are said to have ended their tight friendship after falling out a few years ago.

In 2009 Gwyneth apparently became sick of Madonna's antics and decided to end the relationship.

The women both attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art''s Costume Institute Gala in New York City May 6.
According to an onlooker the feud was palpable at the A-list soiree.

Madonna paid lip service to Gwyneth's new best friend, songstress Beyoncé Knowles.

'She chatted with Beyoncé for most of the evening and didn't even glance at Gwyneth,' a source told Us Weekly.
'Everyone talked about it.'

It is said Madonna refuses to move on from the disagreement.

She is deeply angered and hurt by their contentious connection.

'Madonna would s**t on her, over and over,' an insider close to Gwyneth revealed to the magazine.
'She feels Gwyneth abandoned her. Now Madonna will do anything to make her suffer.'

After the Met Gala, Gwyneth came clean about her lacklustre experience there.

The thespian made it clear she did not have a good time.

'It was so un-fun. I did not enjoy it at all,' she lamented to USA Today.
