Britney Spears has reportedly said "I love you" to boyfriend David Lucado.

The pop star is said to have taken the next step in her new relationship with the law firm employee, despite only splitting from her fiancé Jason Trawick in January.

It was reported in February that 31-year-old Britney had fallen hard for the 27-year-old and was even thinking about setting up home with him.

In fact, sources say Britney and David have been inseparable ever since they were first spotted together on Valentine's Day.

'Everyone knows Britney falls in love very fast, and it is no different with David,' an insider told Life & Style. 'She has already told him 'I love you' and calls him 'Babe.'"

Britney and David are believed to have met through mutual friends, with insiders describing David as a 'normal' guy.

Following their display of togetherness on Valentine's Day, Britney was again seen beaming as she browsed through the Thousand Oaks mall with her new man in March.

An eyewitness revealed they walked with their hands tightly clasped together for most of the afternoon.

'Britney looked great and seemed very happy,' an eyewitness explained. 'David was opening the door for her and being a gentleman. He seems protective of her and like he's known her for a while.'

While the couple are not thought to have moved in together yet, they are reportedly enjoying spending time together.

"[Britney] brings him everywhere," another insider said. "[David feels right at home in Britney's $8.5 million, five-bedroom house in Thousand Oaks], he stays over every night."
