Rihanna reportedly followed Chris Brown to a club on Monday night.

The former couple have been spotted at the same nightclubs twice in the past two weeks, although they kept away from each other. It has now been suggested that Chris was partying at Catch Roof in New York City when he was told that his ex was planning to visit the same venue.

According to New York Post, Chris and his friends decided to move on to another nightspot, Avenue. However, just 30 minutes later Rihanna showed up there with a group of pals and sat at a different booth.

'Spies tell us she and Brown looked as if they were texting each other from the tables - both were looking down at their phones and smiling,' reports the publication.

Although there has been speculation that Chris' romance with model Karrueche Tran has cooled recently, his representative insists the pair are still dating.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Chris has been spending time with Rihanna and her family.

Rihanna and Chris' increasingly friendly behaviour has shocked many following their turbulent relationship. The pair split after Chris pleaded guilty to assaulting Rihanna at a pre-Grammy Awards party in 2009.
