Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z might move to France to raise their daughter.

The pair are the proud parents of Blue Ivy, who was born in a New York City hospital earlier this month. The pair employed vast security measures to keep the tot safe in the medical center and are now said to be concerned about paparazzi intrusion as she grows up.

'I can even see them moving to somewhere like France, like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, where they won't get harassed by paps and can bring Blue up as part of a normal family,' a source told Look magazine.

Beyoncé was said to be concerned about the birth being reported, so she and her husband took steps to ensure it could be as private as possible.

Jay in particular was keen to make the birth as good an experience as possible for his wife.

'They'd already been careful to mislead the public into thinking Blue was due in February, so no one would show up at the hospital in New York, and Jay-Z also made arrangements to block off her maternity suite from everybody else,' the insider added.

'He sent in a team of security experts to assess what they'd need and where to place the guards. It was like a president was going to be in that hospital!'
